INDECENT EXPOSURE

TRAVILLE GATEWAY DR., 9700 block, 4:41 a.m. June 29. A male with no clothes on below the waist stood near the corner of a building and exposed himself to a woman delivering newspapers.

ASSAULTS

HUNGERFORD DR., 700 block, 8 p.m. June 27. A male who appeared to be intoxicated returned to a workplace. After being told that he had been terminated, he attacked a supervisor with a tree branch. An arrest was made at the scene.

ROCKVILLE PIKE, 12000 block, 3:20 a.m. June 26. Two men attacked a female they had met earlier at a restaurant.

ROBBERIES

BROADWOOD DR., 1300 block, 9:30 p.m. June 29. Two males armed with knives threatened two males who were playing basketball, then robbed them of cash.

ELMCROFT BLVD., 400 block, 2:15 a.m. June 24. An occupied home was entered in what police described as a home-invasion robbery. Four people were arrested.

MCARTHUR DR., 400 block, 10:23 p.m. June 30. A group of at least five males attacked a delivery person and fled with food.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ARDENNES AVE., 13200 block, June 26 to 27. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

CHAPMAN AVE., 1700 block, 6:15 a.m. to 1:10 p.m. June 26. Property was stolen from a vehicle broken into at a Metro station.

FARRAGUT AVE., 300 block, 11:20 to 11:27 p.m. June 22. Property was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

HALPINE RD., 5900 block, 3 to 3:30 p.m. June 26. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

MACARTHUR BLVD., 10800 block, 9 to 11 a.m. June 27. Purses were stolen from two vehicles in a parking lot near a restaurant. Each vehicle was entered by breaking a window.

MUNCASTER MILL RD., 7200 block, 1:50 a.m. June 24. Property was stolen from an electronics business entered by force. Arrests were made.

SEVEN LOCKS RD., 9000 block, 12:45 to 2:45 p.m. June 26. Property was taken from a residence entered by force. Police said that the incident was part of a domestic dispute.

WICOMICO AVE., 5800 block, June 24 to 25. In two separate incidents, all four wheels and tires were stolen from a vehicle.

DEMOCRACY BLVD., 7100 block, 2:40 p.m. June 22. A person at a mall punched an acquaintance and broke his jaw.

EAST WEST HWY., 7100 block, 10:30 p.m. June 27. An assault occurred at a fast-food restaurant. One person was injured.

ROBBERIES

EAST AND MONTGOMERY LANES, 3:16 a.m. June 27. A male robbed a pedestrian of cash at gunpoint.

MARINELLI RD. AND NEBEL ST., 8:30 p.m. June 24. Two males grabbed a pedestrian from behind, knocked him to the ground and fled with property.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

CHEVY CHASE BLVD., 4600 block, 11 a.m. to 12:40 p.m. June 24. Property was stolen from a residence.

DERUSSEY PKWY., 4600 block, 10 p.m. June 24 to 7:30 a.m. June 25. Property was stolen from a residence entered through a garage that was entered by force.

FOLKSTONE RD., 5800 block, 11 p.m. June 22 to 6 a.m. June 23. A vehicle was entered. Nothing was reported missing.

HARTSDALE AVE., 8600 block, 1:45 to 3:30 a.m. June 23. An attempt was made to break into a vehicle. Arrests were made.

HEMPSTEAD AVE., 8700 block, 1:45 a.m. to 3:30 a.m. June 23. Cash, electronic equipment, and a GPS device were stolen from a vehicle.

KENSINGTON PKWY., 10300 block, 1 a.m. June 23. Property was stolen from a garden center entered by force.

RIDGEFIELD AND NEWINGTON ROADS, BALTIMORE AVE., AND DUVALL, KIRKWOOD AND EARLSTON DRIVES, June 22 to 30. Property including GPS devices, digital music players, and wallets were stolen from 11 vehicles, many of which had been left unlocked. Eight of the vehicles were broken into on the night of June 23.

SANGAMORE RD., 4500 block, 4:30 to 4:45 a.m. June 24. A business was entered by force. Nothing was reported missing.

VILLAGE PARK DR., 3700 block, 2:55 a.m. June 29. An attempt was made to break into a residence.

INDECENT EXPOSURE

BELVEDERE BLVD., 2000 block, 1:30 a.m. June 22. A male was seen looking into a window at an apartment. When an occupant yelled, the male fled.

ASSAULTS

COLESVILLE RD., 8300 block, 5:12 p.m. June 25. A female with a knife assaulted a person in front of a coffee shop. After a struggle, the victim was able to push the knife aside and the assailant fled on foot. No injuries were reported.

ROBBERIES

FEBRUARY CIR., 11500 block, 1 a.m. June 28. Two males attacked a male, striking him in the head with a stick, and demanded cash. The victim was able to break away. Nothing was reported missing.

NEW HAMPSHIRE AVE., 11200 block, 1:47 p.m. June 24. After being confronted about shoplifting, two males, one armed with a knife, threatened a retail-store employee.

PINEY BRANCH RD., 8900 block, 11:57 a.m. June 22. Three males grabbed a pedestrian, searched his pockets and fled with cash. One of the assailants stabbed the victim in the side with a knife.

PINEY BRANCH RD. AND UNIVERSITY BLVD., 11 p.m. June 22. A male attacked a pedestrian and robbed him of cash. An arrest was made.

QUEBEC TERR., 1000 block, 5 p.m. June 27. Two males in a black Cadillac drove slowly by several pedestrians and demanded cash at gunpoint. When the pedestrians refused, the vehicle sped away. At 5:11 p.m., in the 8800 block of PINEY BRANCH ROAD, two males stopped a black Cadillac near a pedestrian, threatened him with a gun and demanded cash. When the victim refused, the vehicle sped away.

RANDOLPH AND HAMMONTON ROADS, 12:54 a.m. June 27. A male snatched a purse from a woman and fled on foot.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

AMES RD., 100 block, 11 p.m. June 26. An unoccupied residence was entered. Four people were arrested.

BRADOFRD RD., 8800 block, 3 p.m. June 22 to 10 p.m. June 25. Property was stolen from a residence.

BURNT EMBER, CRESTHAVEN AND OVERLOOK DRIVES, NAGLEE, MOFFET AND PAGEBROOK ROADS, AND SWEETBRIAR AND EDGEWATER PARKWAYS, June 22 to 25. GPS devices, cellphones, cash, CD's and tapes were among items stolen from 11 vehicles entered by force.

CARTHAGE CIR., 13900 block, 7:46 to 8:40 p.m. June 27. A residence was entered by force. Nothing was reported missing.

DOWNTOWN SILVER SPRING AREA, June 25 to 29. Twelve vehicles in parking lots and garages were entered, six of them by force. GPS devices and other property were stolen from nine vehicles.

DULANEY PL., 3400 block, 3:50 a.m. June 22. Property was taken from a residence entered by force. A man wearing dark clothing was seen leaving the premises with the property.

EAST WEST HWY., 1500 block, 11:30 a.m. to noon June 27. Property was stolen from a storage facility.

GATESHEAD MANOR WAY, 3400 block, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. June 26. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

GREEN FOREST DR., 10100 block, 1 a.m. June 26 to noon June 27. Property was stolen from a community center entered by force.

GREENWOOD AVE., 8000 block, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. June 30. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

MARIGOLD CT., 1 to 100 block, 7:30 p.m. June 26 to 9 a.m. June 27. Sports equipment and a wallet were stolen from a vehicle. In a separate incident, a GPS device was stolen from a vehicle.

MCKNEW RD., 15000 block, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. June 22. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

OLD COLUMBIA PIKE, 11800 block, 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. June 23. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

PARKFORD MANOR TERR., 3300 block, 8:40 a.m. to 1:50 p.m. June 26. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

SHEFFIELD MANOR CT., 1 to 100 block, 4:15 to 11:24 p.m. June 24. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

STONEGATE DR., 200 block, 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 25. A wallet was stolen from a vehicle in a parking lot at a community swimming pool.

GALT AVE., 11300 block, 3:21 a.m. June 24. A person was attacked by a person with a machete. Police said that both people were intoxicated. The victim was treated for minor injuries.

GREENLY ST., 12500 block, 2:30 p.m. June 26. Four women grabbed a pedestrian and robbed her of a purse and a cellphone.

MACDUFF AVE. AND HINES RD., 2:18 a.m. June 25. Three males grabbed a male youth, searched his pockets and fled with cash.

VEIRS MILL RD., 12100 block, June 21. A person with a gun demanded cash from a motorist at a drive-up ATM, then fled empty-handed. An arrest was made.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

AQUARIUS AVE., 2800 block, 3 to 6:30 p.m. June 29. Property was stolen from a garage at a residence.

CHIPPING CT., 17700 block, 9:40 p.m. June 29. An attempt was made to break into a residence.

COLLEGE VIEW DR., 11600 block, 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. June 22. A residence was entered. Nothing was reported missing.

GEORGIA AVE., 14100 block, 11:50 p.m. June 25. A woman in a convenience store grabbed cash from a customer's hand. An arrest was made.

HATHAWAY DR., 13300 block, 3:26 p.m. June 28. A person with a knife attacked a person in a residence. Police said that it was a domestic incident.

LADD ST., 1900 block, 11 p.m. June 23 to 6:30 a.m. June 24. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

PEAR TREE CT., 14200 block, 1 to 6:20 p.m. June 23. Property was stolen from a residence.

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

WISTERIA DR. AND GREAT SENECA HWY., June 26. A woman was raped by two male acquaintances. The assaults took place in an abandoned house.

ROBBERIES

BARLEYCORN WAY AND CREAMERY HILL DR., 6:35 p.m. June 24. A man grabbed cash from a male pedestrian who had just taken it out of his wallet.

CRYSTAL ROCK DR. AND LOCBURY CIR., 11:05 p.m. June 24. A group of at least 10 males demanded cash from a male pedestrian near a park. The pedestrian refused and ran away. After a short chase, the victim ran into a police station.

GERMANTOWN AND FREDERICK ROADS, 1:18 a.m. June 27. Four male youths followed a man who had just gotten off a bus, knocked him to the ground and fled with property.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

FAIRLADY WAY, 17800 block, June 26 to 27. Property was stolen from an open garage at a residence.

HIGHSTREAM DR., 19100 block, 8:30 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. June 29. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

RIDGE RD., 25900 block, 10:55 p.m. June 26. An exterior wall of a high school was spray-painted with graffiti. The spray paint had been taken from an unlocked shed at the school. Two youths were arrested.

SCENERY PL., 11400 block, 4:30 to 5 p.m. June 26. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

ROSEBAY AND ALPINE DRIVES, 3:56 a.m. June 22. A GPS device, a satellite radio and a flashlight were stolen from a vehicle entered by force.

SENECA FOREST CIR., 11600 block, 9 to 10 a.m. June 28. Property was stolen from a residence.

SWEETGUM CIR., 19900 block, 3:13 a.. June 30. A male tried to break into an occupied residence. A male was arrested.

WALKER HOUSE RD., 9900 block, 12:35 a.m. June 27. Four males got out of a taxi at the agreed-upon destination. As the driver was making change he was attacked by one of the male passengers and robbed of cash.

WASHINGTON GROVE LANE AND FLOWER HILL WAY, 4:45 a.m. June 24. Three men at a bus stop attacked a male, knocking him to the ground, then fled with a cellphone.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BERCLAIR TERR., 17200 block, 11:20 a.m. June 25. After ringing a doorbell at a residence and getting no answer, two males tried to pry open a door and windows. Entry was not gained. The intruders fled empty-handed.

GLORIA WAY AND GIRARD ST., 12:15 p.m. June 29. A male ran up to an elderly woman, snatched her purse and fled to a waiting vehicle.

HADLEY FARMS DR., 7400 block, June 23 to 24. An unlocked office at a community pool was entered by cutting through a rear fence. Lockers and a cash box were searched. Nothing was reported missing.

KING JAMES WAY, 17000 block, midnight to 3:30 a.m. June 28. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

LONGDRAFT RD., 17000 block, June 24 to 25. Property was stolen from a veterinary hospital entered by force.

MARKET ST. W., 300 block, June 24 to 26. Property was stolen from a residence.

PARK RD., 300 block, 10:40 to 11 p.m. July 1. A Germantown man, 28, was charged with possession of a concealed weapon, brass knuckles, and possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

DAWSON AVE., 200 block, 6 to 6:30 p.m. July 3. A purse and a cellphone adaptor were stolen from a residence.

GUY CT., 1 to 100 block, 5:50 to 6:05 p.m. July 2. A purse was stolen from a vehicle.

ROCKVILLE PIKE, 800 block, 12:30 to 12:35 p.m. July 2. Cash and credit cards were stolen from a customer's purse at a coffee shop.

ROCKVILLE PIKE, 1700 block, 7:20 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. July 2. A GPS device was stolen from a vehicle.

ROCKVILLE PIKE, 1700 block, 3 to 5 p.m. July 2. A purse containing a camera, a cellphone and cash was stolen from a hotel conference room.
