Montgomery County: For home security, ask for the community services officer at your district police station. For fire prevention, call the Home Fire Safety Evaluation Hotline, 240-777-2476.

Prince George's County: For home security, ask for the community relations team at the district police station. For fire prevention, call 301-583-1830 and ask for an inspector.

Alexandria: Contact the police department's community relations unit at 703-838-4520.
