Woman Held in Fatal Stabbing

Police in Prince George's County arrested a District Heights woman Saturday in a fatal stabbing that investigators think was "domestic related," authorities said.

Susan R. Brinson, 46, was charged with second-degree murder in the fatal stabbing of a man Saturday in the 6200 block of District Heights Parkway, police said. Brinson, who lives in the area, stabbed the man multiple times in the upper body before police were called just after 10 p.m., authorities said.

The man was taken to the hospital, where he died. It was not immediately clear exactly what prompted the stabbing.

Authorities did not release the man's name, saying his family had yet to be notified.
