Not once but twice, In the Loop's Al Kamen has reported the nomination of Lee A. Feinstein as ambassador to Poland with disparagement of Warsaw.
On April 29, under the subheadline "No Joke," Kamen concluded his report with "Okay, it's Warsaw, but Poland is an important post."
In a July 20 update, he added parenthetically that Feinstein was "one of the few Hillaryland folks to get a European embassy, albeit in Eastern Europe."
Kamen appears "out of the loop" as to where U.S. national security interests lie in Europe and Warsaw's attractions.
Kamen's remarks were insulting to an important ally, dismissive of this strategic region, disrespectful of an ancient capital and unworthy of The Post.
