A sport-utility vehicle driven by D.C. Mayor Adrian M. Fenty (D) was in a collision Sunday evening on Broad Branch Road in upper Northwest Washington. No injuries were reported.
The mayor's spokeswoman said the collision occurred about 7 p.m. after another vehicle apparently went through a stop sign and pulled in front of the mayor's vehicle. Minor damage to the vehicles was reported.
A neighborhood resident said the mayor had his three children and one of their friends in the SUV when the incident occurred near Rittenhouse Street.
