We're not going to tell you the answer. We're going to tell you where you can find out for yourself. If, after reading "Body Science," you yearn to know more about the sounds your body makes, the way you burn calories and, yes, whether you can lie on a bed of nails without saying "Ouch!," head up to the Maryland Science Center in Baltimore. Not only is it home to one of the best, most kid-friendly human body exhibitions, it's also a place where you can learn about space, physics and dinosaurs.

The Maryland Science Center, 601 Light St., is open extended summer hours through Sept. 6: Sunday-Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Admission is $14.95 for adults and $10.95 for kids 3-12. For more information, go to http://www.mdsci.org or call 410-685-5225.
