FIRST ST., 1200 block, July 17. A person sexually assaulted an acquaintance.

ROBBERIES

STONESTREET AVE., 100 block, 5:10 a.m. July 19. Two males robbed three pedestrians of cash at gunpoint. One of the victims was struck with the gun.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ANTIGONE DR., 14500 block, July 16 to 17. A digital music player and a camera were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

BISSEL LANE, 13400 block, July 16 to 19. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

BISSEL LANE, 13400 block, 1 to 3:18 p.m. July 20. A residence was entered by force. Nothing was reported missing.

BRANDY HALL LANE, 11500 block, July 19 to 20. Loose change was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

CHERRY GROVE DR., 11800 block, July 14. Loose change was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

DOVER RD., 400 block, July 16. Cash was stolen from a purse in a vehicle parked in a tow lot.

GAITHER RD., 1100 block, July 15 to 16. A wallet was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

HORNBEAM DR., 4500 block, July 17 to 19. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

MONTROSE RD., 7800 block, noon to July 14. Property was stolen from a business.

PICCARD DR., 1700 block, July 16. A cellphone was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

POST OAK DR., 8800 block, July 17 to 20. The interior of a private school was vandalized. Nothing was reported missing.

RIVER BEND CT., 10600 block, noon July 19. A residence was entered. A man, 54, was arrested.

ROCKVILLE PIKE, 1700 block, July 22. Three men were seen breaking into a vehicle. Three District men, ages 24, 34 and 39, were arrested. Property that had been removed from the vehicle was recovered.

STONECUTTER DR., 14100 block, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 15. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

BRADLEY BLVD., 4700 block, 6:40 p.m. July 19. A domestic assault occurred.

PINEY BRANCH RD. AND GREENWOOD AVE., 11 p.m. July 18 to 4:04 a.m. July 19. A person stabbed a person with a sharp object.

SPRING LAKE DR., 7500 block, July 20. Police responding to a report of a domestic assault were threatened by a man with a knife. A man, 31, was arrested.

ROSS RD., 2500 block, 1 a.m. July 17. A group of at least five males attacked a male and robbed him of cash.

BALTIMORE AVE., 5200 block, July 14. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

DALECARLIA DR., 5100 block, July 13 to 14. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

DEMOCRACY BLVD., 7100 block, July 16 to 18. A GPS device and a stereo were stolen from a vehicle entered by force.

EAST WEST HWY., 1900 block, July 21. Property was stolen from a residence.

FLOWER AVE., 9500 block, 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. July 18. Property was stolen from a residence.

HAMPTON MILL TERR., 10700 block, July 14. Loose change was stolen from a vehicle entered by force.

HOWARD AVE., 4000 block, July 14 to 15. Catalytic converters were stolen from three GMC trucks.

JAMESTOWN RD., 500 block, GREYSTONE ST., 5500 block, WISCONSIN AVE., 5100 block, BALTIMORE AVE., 5100 block, SHERRILL AVE., 5300 block, WESTBARD AVE., 5400 block, and SENTINEL DR., 4900 block, July 13 to 21. Electronic equipment, credit cards, cash, a stereo and food were among property stolen from 10 vehicles.

LANIER DR., 8800 block, July 17. A residence was entered by force. Nothing was reported missing.

LUXEMBOURG ST., 5600 and 5700 blocks, July 13 to 14. Cash, a GPS device and CDs were among property stolen from three vehicles entered by force.

PARKWOOD DR. AND WESTBROOK LANE, July 13. Police responding to a report of people looking into vehicles detained two people and recovered GPS devices, cellphones, credit cards and other property. Two District men, ages 28 and 30, were arrested.

RITCHIE and GIST AVENUES, EAST WEST HWY. and BLAIR MILL RD., July 15 to 20. Property including cash, stereo equipment and electronic equipment was stolen from six vehicles. Four of the vehicles were entered by force. A man, 18, of no fixed address, was arrested.

QUEBEC TERR., 1000 block, 1 p.m. July 15. A male snatched a handheld video game from a 6-year-old boy walking with his mother in an alley.

TILDENWOOD BLVD., 6700 block, July 14. GPS devices were stolen from two vehicles entered by force.

WARNER ST., 4100 block, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. July 14. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

WILLARD AVE., 4400 block, 3:45 to 4:15 p.m. July 15. A first-floor storage area was entered at a business. Nothing was reported missing.

WOODMONT AVE., 700 block, July 17 to 19. GPS devices were stolen from seven vehicles entered by breaking windows.

NOVEMBER CIR., 1500 block, 11:07 p.m. July 17. A man argued with a male acquaintance, shot him and fled.

NEW HAMPSHIRE AVE., 9200 block, 8:50 p.m. July 19. Three men asked a man in a parking lot for cash, dragged him into woods and assaulted him. An investigation is continuing.

UNIVERSITY BLVD., 100 block, 11:10 to 11:20 a.m. July 15. Four males on a Metro bus robbed a male youth of a digital music player.

UNIVERSITY BLVD., 700 block, 5:05 p.m. July 14. Two men attacked a man at a gas station and robbed him of a squeegee. Two men, ages 25 and 40, were arrested.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

ANGLETON TERR., 14200 block, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 14. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

BLACKBURN LANE, 3900 block, July 14 to 15. Electronic and stereo equipment was among property stolen from eight vehicles parked in residential lots. Six of the vehicles were entered by force. Two males seen looking into vehicles fled in a gold-colored Cadillac when confronted.

CANON RD., 500 block, 2:30 to 3 a.m. July 15. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

COLGATE WAY, 13600 block, 11 to 11:20 a.m. July 14. A residence was entered. Nothing was reported missing.

NORTHWEST DR., 700 block, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. July 17. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

SOUTHEAST OLNEY PARK AREA, July 17. A juvenile sexually assaulted a juvenile acquaintance.

GEORGIA AVE. AND EPPING RD., 9:45 p.m. July 13. A group of about 20 males and females attacked three people at a bus stop. One person was stabbed in the leg, and one was struck with a board.

GEORGIA AVE., 12500 block, 6:30 p.m. July 15. Three men attacked a male at a bus station and robbed him of food.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

GEORGIAN WOODS PL., 2000 block, 12:01 to 9:30 a.m. July 17. An attempt was made to break into a residence.

HATHAWAY DR., 13100 block, 2:17 a.m. July 15. An attempt was made to break into a residence.

HEWITT AVE., 2900 block, 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 17. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

MCMAHON RD., 1200 block, 8 a.m. July 20. A residence was entered. Three males, ages 14, 14, and 15, were arrested.

NEW HAMPSHIRE AVE., 13400 block, 11:48 p.m. July 17 to 7 a.m. July 18. An attempt was made to break into a gas station. Nothing was reported missing. Police said the incident appeared to be related to an attempted break-in at a restaurant on nearby Vital Way.

PAUL DR., 3200 block, 10 a.m. July 13 to 12:30 p.m. July 14. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

TODDSBURY LANE, 3700 block, 2 to 9:36 a.m. July 19. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

VALLEYWOOD DR., 11800 block, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 15. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

VALLEYWOOD DR., 12900 block, July 16. Property was stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

VITAL WAY, 1-100 block, 5:30 p.m. July 17 to 7:30 a.m. July 18. An attempt was made to break into a restaurant. Nothing was reported missing. Police said the incident appeared to be related to an attempted break-in at a gas station nearby on New Hampshire Avenue.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

CHESTERWOOD DR., 11:30 p.m. July 17 to 2:30 a.m. July 18. A 2006 Honda motorcycle, a 2007 Suzuki GSX motorcycle and a 2000 Dodge Caravan were stolen. Police said that the van was probably used to transport the motorcycles from the scene.

APPLEDOWRE WAY, 11300 block, 9 p.m. July 14. A male robbed a male acquaintance of property at knifepoint. A 13-year-old male was arrested.

CLUB HILL DR., 20100 block, 11:20 p.m. July 18. A person knocked a pedestrian to the ground and fled with her purse.

FREDERICK RD., 21000 block, 1:25 a.m. July 18. Two men attacked a customer at a gas station and robbed him of cash. A 19-year-old White Plains, N.Y., man was charged with strong-arm robbery.

MIDDLEBROOK RD. AND CRYSTAL ROCK DR., 10:54 a.m. July 15. Three males attacked a teenager near a high school and robbed him of a cellphone. Three teenagers were arrested.

SWEETGUM CIR., 20000 block, 11:25 p.m. July 20. Three males tried to rob a male at knifepoint. After searching his pockets, the assailants fled empty-handed.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BETHESDA CHURCH RD., 9800 block, 7 p.m. July 18. Property was stolen from a residence.

BRUNDIDGE TERR., 11500 block, July 17. A GPS device was stolen from a vehicle entered by force.

CHAMPIONS WAY, 13500 block, 1 to 1:45 a.m. July 21. Attempts were made to break into two vehicles by smashing windows. Nothing was reported missing. Three males were seen fleeing the area. A male, 19, was arrested.

CROSSITE DR., 19900 block, July 13 to 17. GPS devices, a satellite radio and a cellphone charger were among items stolen from two vehicles entered by force.

CROWNSGATE WAY, 13700 block, July 13 to 14. A GPS device and a cellphone were stolen from a vehicle entered by force.

DRUMCASTLE TERR., 11600 block, July 17. Cash was stolen from a vehicle entered by force.

DUNBAR TERR., 13700 block, July 13 to 14. A GPS device, a cellphone and cash were stolen from a vehicle entered by force.

ELDERBERRY DR., 11800 block, 5:20 to 5:40 a.m. July 19. An attempt was made to break into a residence.

FREDERICK RD., 22900 block, 7:15 p.m. July 14. Property was stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry. A man was seen leaving the premises with the property.

TRALEE TERR., 10500 block, 1:55 a.m. July 15. An air bag was stolen from a vehicle entered by breaking a window. The vehicle owner saw a male flee with the property.

TRIMFIELD LANE AND WYNNFIELD DR., July 16 to 17. A GPS device and a camera were stolen from a vehicle entered by force.

KILLARNEY LANE, 9900 block, July 20. In what police described as a domestic incident, a man assaulted a person outside a residence. A man, 19, was arrested.

RIDGELINE DR., 10100 block, 3 to 4:30 a.m. July 18. Six people attacked an acquaintance inside his residence and fled with property.

ROBBERIES

HORNERS LANE N., 200 block, 6:50 p.m. July 17. A Gaithersburg man, 25, was arrested in connection with a July 14 robbery at this location. The man was also charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

ARGYLE ST. W., 1 to 100 block, 7 p.m. July 25 to 10 a.m. July 26. A GPS device was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

CHAPMAN AVE., 1700 block, 3:30 to 9:30 p.m. July 23. A GPS device was stolen from a vehicle at a Metro station parking lot.

ELMCROFT BLVD., 800 block, 8:30 p.m. July 20 to 10:38 a.m. July 21. A GPS device was stolen from a vehicle.

EVANS ST., 100 block, 7 p.m. July 21 to 8:30 a.m. July 22. A GPS device was stolen from a vehicle.

GIBBS ST., 100 block, 12:46 a.m. July 22. A Gaithersburg woman, 37, was charged with theft of services in connection with a failure to pay a fare for a ride in a vehicle.

GIBBS ST., 100 block, 5:59 p.m. July 23. A Greenbelt man, 19, was charged with shoplifting, resisting arrest, assaulting a police officer, possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of controlled substance paraphernalia.

HIGHWOOD DR., 1100 block, 8:30 p.m. July 22 to noon July 23. A purse containing cash, jewelry, a cellphone and a check was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

LINDLEY TERR., 2500 block, 2:35 to 2:45 p.m. July 19. A purse and a cellphone were stolen from a vehicle.

MARTINS LANE, 300 block, 5:15 to 7 p.m. July 22. A wallet and a set of keys were stolen from an unlocked locker at a swim facility.

MONTGOMERY AVE. W., 300 block, 11:30 p.m. July 25 to 7:30 a.m. July 26. A DVD player was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

RIDGEMONT AVE., 300 block, 7 p.m. July 18 to 11:15 a.m. July 19. Plants were stolen from a residence's yard.

SHADY GROVE RD., 15800 block, 10:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. July 17. An LCD projector and a case were stolen from an office suite conference room.

WALL ST., 1 to 100 block, 10:30 p.m. July 25 to 7 a.m. July 26. A wallet, cash and several CDs were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

ROCKVILLE PIKE, 11300 block, 8:05 p.m. July 23. During a traffic stop, a Lanham man, 19, and a Georgia man, 21, were charged with theft, auto theft, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, credit-card theft and identity theft.
