How to Find Events in Paris

Sunday, August 23, 2009

During our online chat (most Mondays at 2 p.m.), you ask and we answer your travel questions -- mostly. Here's one we couldn't get to last week.

My wife and I are traveling to Paris in September. Is there a good English-language weekly that highlights what is going on in the city for a given week?

It's not in English, but don't let that stop you from picking up a copy of Pariscope as soon as you get to the City of Light. The weekly compendium of concerts, theater, museums, restaurants, markets and more is available at newsstands for less than a buck, or online at http://www.pariscope.fr. For info in English, there's Paris Update (http://www.paris-update.com/fr), an independent weekly Web magazine with listings and reviews, and Time Out Paris (http://www.timeout.com/paris), with a handy What's On in Paris section.
