Keep Working Your Internship, Even After It Ends

If you've already left your internship, it's not too late to send thank-you notes and build your network, said Marilyn Mackes, executive director of the National Association of Colleges and Employers. Send the people you worked with an e-mail or letter that acknowledges their contributions.
If classes have already begun, mention something your professor is discussing that strikes a chord with an internship experience. Or share pertinent case studies or other information with your former supervisor.
