A pair of single-engine planes and a helicopter will buzz through the no-fly zone over Washington between midnight and 2 a.m. Thursday in a test of security systems by the North American Aerospace Defense Command.

The operation is designed to hone NORAD's intercept and identification operations and test the NCR Visual Warning System. For more information, contact the NORAD public affairs office at 719-554-6889.
