Arlington County police have arrested a 79-year-old man they say sexually assaulted a young family member over several years.
Chester Fred Mancinelli, who lives in Arlington, is charged with aggravated sexual battery in connection with the incidents. He was held without bond in the Arlington County detention center.
Mancinelli has a history of sexual abuse, police said. He has lived in Northern Virginia on and off for the past seven years, according to police.
