He was bald, sported a white goatee and last summer got away with cashing nearly $9,000 in fraudulent checks at local SunTrust bank branches in Montgomery and Prince George's counties.
So says the Montgomery Police Department, which on Wednesday released photos of the suspect they say entered the banks in June 2008. The suspect presented checks from the Hyatt Corporation and fake identification to get the cash, police said.
Police described him as a black male, about 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 180 pounds, and in his late 40s or early 50s, and bald with a white goatee and glasses.
Police asked anyone with information on the suspect's identity to call 240-773-6330 or 301-279-8000. Callers may remain anonymous.
