An unidentified man was struck by a car early Monday at the intersection of Friendship Boulevard and Willard Avenue, Montgomery County police said, not far from the Village of Friendship Heights.
Police, who received a call about 6:15 a.m., said the man had serious injuries and was taken to Suburban Hospital for treatment. The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene.
