SEXUAL ASSAULTS

BALTIMORE RD., 1000 block, 9:10 p.m. Sept. 6. A male walked up to a woman tending to plants in front of a residence and groped her, then fled when she struck him with a watering can.

INDECENT EXPOSURE

GUDE ST. E., 300 block, 4:48 p.m. Sept. 5. A man exposed himself to people in passing vehicles. A Germantown man, 29, was charged with indecent exposure.

ROBBERIES

BOILING BROOK PKWY., 4700 block, 9 p.m. Sept. 5. A person struck a pedestrian in the head with a hard object. The victim said that when he got up, he realized that he had been robbed of property.

DAHILL AND GOODLOE ROADS, 10:30 p.m. Sept. 7. A male struck a pedestrian in the head with a hard object, knocking him to the ground, then robbed him of cash from his pockets.

GUDE DR. E., 1200 block, 2:26 a.m. Sept. 6. Six males surrounded a male outside a restaurant and demanded property. When the victim refused, they struck him several times and fled empty-handed.

GUDE DR. E. AND CALHOUN DR., 6 p.m. Sept. 8. A robbery occurred.

Cash, CDs and cellphone chargers were among property stolen from 11 unlocked vehicles.

CHARLES RD., 11700 block, 12:01 to 8 a.m. Sept. 3. A transit-fare card and a cellphone and charger were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

ESWORTHY RD., 13900 block, 5:40 p.m. Sept. 8. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

HAMILTON SPRING RD., 7600 block, 11:15 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. Aug. 31. Property was stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

SPRING LAKE DR., 7500 block, noon Sept. 4. A person was attacked with a meat cleaver. Police said that it was a domestic incident.

ROBBERIES

ROSEMARY HILLS DR., 1900 block, 9:45 p.m. Sept. 5. Two men robbed a man of a 1998 Chrysler Sebring and other property at gunpoint.

WESTLAKE DR., 10300 block, 9 p.m. Sept. 8. A male entered a business and demanded cash from the cash register at gunpoint. When an employee came out of a back room, the male fled empty-handed. No injuries were reported.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

BEXHILL DR. E., 9900 and 10000 blocks, 10 p.m. Aug. 31 to 8 a.m. Sept. 1. A laptop computer, a camera, a navigational device and a digital music player were among items stolen from three vehicles entered by force.

DAY AVE., 10200 block, 10 p.m. Sept. 2 to 7:45 a.m. Sept. 3. Cash was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

ELROD RD., 9700 block, 8:30 p.m. Aug. 31 to 8 a.m. Sept. 1. Cash was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

PINEY BRANCH RD. AND FLOWER AVE. AREA, 2:30 a.m. Sept. 6. A man approached a woman on a bench, groped her and offered her money. When the victim resisted, the man fled in a blue Nissan pickup.

PLYMOUTH ST., 8700 block, 5:50 a.m. Sept. 2. A man seen looking through a window at a residence fled when confronted.

QUEBEC TERRACE PARK AREA, 11:24 a.m. Sept. 5. A man sexually assaulted an acquaintance. A man, 35, was arrested.

GEORGIA AVE., 10000 block, 3:25 p.m. Sept. 6. A man with a knife threatened an acquaintance. A man, 20, was arrested.

VENETIA MILL CIR., 7:35 p.m. Sept. 7. In what was described as a domestic incident, a youth threatened two acquaintances with a butcher knife. A 12-year-old boy was arrested.

CASTLE WAY, 3400 block, 3:21 p.m. Sept. 6. Two males attacked a pedestrian and robbed him of a book bag.

GEORGIA AVE., 8600 block, 4:38 p.m. Sept. 1. A man wearing a black wig robbed a bank after passing a teller a note.

LOCKWOOD DR. AND NEW HAMPSHIRE AVE., 6:30 p.m. Sept. 3. Two females robbed a girl of cash and property. The victim returned to the scene with an adult and a call was made to police. Two 15-year-old girls were arrested.

OUTLET DR., 13800 block, 9:20 a.m. Sept. 8. A teenager robbed a retail store of cash at knifepoint. A 14-year-old boy was arrested.

BUCKINGHAM DR., 600 block, 9:45 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. Sept. 4. Property was stolen from a residence entered by force.

GEORGIA AVE., 11100 block, 6:33 p.m. Sept. 3. Property was taken from a residence entered by force. Two male youths were seen leaving with the property.

POSTGATE TERR., 4000 block, 5:50 a.m. Sept. 3. A man tried to break into an occupied residence. He fled empty-handed when confronted.

PERRY PKWY., 60 block, 10 p.m. Sept. 4. Three men robbed a male pedestrian of cash at knifepoint.

RABBIT RD. AND QUINCE ORCHARD BLVD., 3 a.m. Sept. 6. Four men, each armed with a knife, threatened three men and demanded property. After a struggle, the assailants fled-empty-handed.

BAYRIDGE DR., 800 block, Sept. 4 to 5. A residence was entered. Nothing was reported missing.

COLLEGE PKWY., 800 block, 1:30 to 3:15 p.m. Sept. 9. Two cameras, two cellphones, a TV, a laptop computer, a Social Security card and a passport were stolen from an apartment entered by forcing a sliding-glass door.

HORNERS LANE N., 500 block, 2:20 a.m. Sept. 7. Cash, a watch, a wallet and a cellphone were stolen from a residence.

INFIELD CT., 1 to 100 block, 6 p.m. Sept. 4 to 10:30 a.m. Sept. 5. A laptop computer, a navigational device, a satellite radio, a briefcase and a wallet were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

MARYLAND AVE., 1 to 100 block, 5:45 to 6:40 p.m. Sept. 9. A wallet and a digital music player were stolen from a locked locker at a gym.

ROCKVILLE PIKE, 1200 block, 1:08 p.m. Sept. 8. A man, 19, was charged with shoplifting.

VAN BUREN ST. N., 100 block, 10:30 p.m. Sept. 9 to 6:30 a.m. Sept. 10. Two wallets, two driver's licenses, credit cards, a cellphone and a laptop computer were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked back door.

LARCH AND HOPEWELL AVENUES, 12:23 p.m. Sept. 11. A vehicle was stolen. Two male teenagers were each charged with motor vehicle theft, unauthorized use of a vehicle, theft and destruction of property.

PRINCE GEORGE'S AVE., 6800 block, 4 to 6:30 p.m. Sept. 15. A vehicle was stolen.
