Chat Plus: Williamsburg Restaurant Recommendations
During our online chat (most Mondays at 2 p.m.), you ask your travel questions and we answer them -- mostly. Here's one we couldn't get to last week.
Any ideas on where to eat in Williamsburg? Not super high-end, but not chain or fast food in the slightest.
Dialing it down a notch, try the Cheese Shop (410 W. Duke of Gloucester St.), beloved by locals for its inventive sandwiches, cheeses, salads and more. Pierce's Pitt Bar-B-Que (447 E. Rochambeau Dr.) is a local legend known for its pulled-pork and pulled-chicken sandwiches, ribs and sweet potato fries. And the Green Leafe Cafe (765 Scotland St. and 4345 New Town Ave.) is an upscale tavern popular for its burgers and beer selection.
