A 21-year-old man was arrested Friday in the slaying of a man found shot in Southeast Washington in March, D.C. police said.
The victim, Melvin Norris, 21, of M Place SE was found bleeding from gunshot wounds about 9:30 p.m. March 21 in the 300 block of Anacostia Road SE. He died in a hospital the next afternoon, police said.
Shelton B. Robinson of Northeast Washington was arrested on a charge of first-degree murder Friday morning by officers assigned to the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force, police said.
