GETTING THERE

Erie, Pa., site of this year's sea glass festival, is about 370 miles from Washington. Take Interstate 270 north to I-70 west. Get on I-76 west to I-79 north to Erie. US Airways, Delta and Northwest have one-stop flights to Erie from BWI Marshall, Continental from BWI and Reagan National. Round-trip fares start at $228.
