The Oct. 2 "Think Before You Honk" letter was right on, but it just scratched the surface. Why do many people honk their horns when they are just locking their cars? It is jarring, inconsiderate and unnecessary. Remote key locks should not require the peace to be disturbed at any hour. Same goes for car alarms. When is the last time anyone called 911 when one sounded?
