Says Redskins Coach Jim Zorn, "You can only improve on what you have now."
(By John Mcdonnell -- The Washington Post)

Heck, it worked Monday, might as well do it again. More good and bad from the continuing fallout over Washington's 2-3 record. Imagine how long these columns would be if they were 1-4.
Good: John Riggins continues to make entertaining YouTube videos about the plight of the Redskins.
Bad: He savaged Vinny Cerrato, saying his "real true passion is radio, so I would say just go ahead and go radio full-time with the occasional appearance on ESPN, maybe TV, start analyzing games. I mean, you're a great guy, Vin, but you're no GM."
Bad: He savaged Jim Zorn, saying "You, too, are not a head football coach in the NFL. High school? Definitely, you can coach in high school. . . . You're out of your league, Jim.
"No offense to you, but I don't think you're gonna grow into this job. I just don't think you're cut from that right bolt of cloth, don't even know if you could be an offensive coordinator right now. But I wish you luck, and you are gone."
Bad: He savaged the notion of hope, saying, 'You know what they used to say about the Washington Senators, they're now gonna say about the Washington football team, which is first in war, first in peace, last in the NFC East."
Good: Fans continue to show passion for this franchise.
Bad: They do that by creating sites like Buyout Snyder: "Because I don't have millions lying around we have to come together as a TEAM and buy out Snyder. Let's get together. Let's raise money. Lets find someone rich to buy him out!!!!!"
Bad: And FanExodus.com, dedicated to forming "a coalition of fans who are prepared to stop buying Redskins tickets and merchandise until Mr. Snyder hires a new General Manager and promises to allow him enough autonomy to build a successful organization."
Bad: And a petition for Ronnie Mervis to buy the Redskins. Yes, that Ronnie Mervis.
Seriously.
Good: Voice of the Redskins Larry Michael is still sort of trying to remain positive.
