Once the owners of the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club decided to donate their services for Laura Sauriol and Ferris Butler's wedding, several other vendors signed on to do the same. Black Eyed Susan donated flowers, Absolute Entertainment provided the music, D. Bryant Photography offered to shoot the wedding for free, and Fiona's Cakes provided dessert.
The ambiance: The couple opted for a nautical theme with blue and white flowers. The ring bearers walked down the aisle carrying oversize (plastic) rings on fishing poles. Seating assignments were painted on sand dollars.
The food: A mashed-potato bar was set up during cocktail hour as servers passed hors d'oeuvres. At dinner, the couple's 130 guests were offered three kinds of chilled soup, lump-crab salads, and filet mignon or grilled lemon-and-chive chicken. Guests could choose vanilla cake with raspberry filling or chocolate cake with chocolate filling. A chocolate fountain rounded out the dessert options.
The dress: Sauriol wore a one-shoulder Paloma Blanca gown. Originally the dress was strapless, but the bride had a strap added to ensure it wouldn't fall down.
The first dance: "Forever Love" by Anna Nalick.
