A Fredericksburg man has been charged with murder in the Oct. 11 shooting death in Manassas of Curtiss K. Brown, 25, of Dumfries .
Ricky Lee Allen Kerns, 21, of the 3700 block of Lee Hill Village Circle is being held without bond after his arrest in Stafford County on Wednesday. Brown was found about 1:30 a.m. in the parking lot of KC's Restaurant at 9550 Center St., and died later in Prince William Hospital.
Police do not yet know the circumstances behind the shooting, said Manassas police spokesman Sgt. Tim Neumann.
