One man was killed and two others were injured Monday night in a triple shooting in Southeast Washington, near the border with Prince George's County, police said.

The shooting occurred about 10:10 p.m. in the 3200 block of 23rd Street near Savannah Terrace, according to police. The dead man, whom police identified as Troy A. Fenwick of the unit block of Underwood Place NE, was two days short of his 25th birthday. The other victims, whose injuries were not believed to be life-threatening, were 41 and 19, police said. Police did not identify them because they are considered witnesses.

Immediately after the shooting, authorities said they were looking for a man dressed all in black in connection with their investigation. Police ask anyone with information to call 202-727-9099 or 888-919-2746.
