Eric Williamson seems to believe that it is okay for him to walk around inside his home while naked ["Man disputes indecent-exposure charge," Metro, Oct. 26]. I tend to agree with him. However, for him to do so while having no curtains on his windows, if true, suggests both an appalling lack of respect for his neighbors and an all-too-common lack of common sense.
Were I the judge, I would find Mr. Williamson guilty. I would sentence him to 180 days in jail and three years of unsupervised probation. I would suspend the 180 days on the condition that he buy, install and conscientiously use curtains on all of his windows.
But before I imposed this sentence, I would go up one side and down the other of Mr. Williamson for his lack of respect and common sense.
