What really, really scares you? We're talking white-knuckle, lose-your-lunch, no-way-am-I-going-to-do-that kind of terror.
Do you suffer from a "Vertigo"-esque fear of heights? Would the idea of being in a dark, tight place push you to the brink of insanity? Maybe it's the thought of walking among headstones, surrounded by the countless restless souls in a shadowy cemetery, that would make you scream in terror. Or what about the sensation of eight hairy legs creeping up your arm?
Just in time for Halloween, we decided to make the fearsome fun. So we set out to brave our fears and explore ways to overcome some common phobias.
The result?
We realized that taking in fall foliage from a hot-air balloon, getting a harmless scare in a cave, learning about the city's past and getting up close to an insect or two are more entertaining than scary. The only thing we fear now is running out of things to do.
