Rosewood Hotels & Resorts is offering a free night at a number of luxe properties in the United States, Mexico and the Caribbean. For example, stay two nights and receive a free third night at the Carlyle in New York; San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara, Calif.; the Mansion on Peachtree in Atlanta, etc. Or spend four nights and get a fifth free at Caneel Bay on St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands, or Jumby Bay in Antigua, among others. The Carlyle, for instance, starts at $594 a night, plus $90 taxes; with the deal, guests pay $1,376 for three nights, taxes included. Travel Jan. 3 to May 30. SEA

Sail aboard the world's largest cruise ship, Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Seas, and Cruise.com will throw in $100 onboard credit, prepaid gratuities and a bottle of champagne. The four-day Caribbean cruise starts at $1,531 per couple, including taxes, and departs Fort Lauderdale, Fla., on Dec. 1, the maiden voyage. Book by Nov. 2. AirTran is offering fare sales from Washington area airports to cities nationwide for bookings made by Nov. 10. For example, round-trip fare from BWI to Charlotte starts at $123, including taxes; from $190 for Washington Dulles to Miami; and from $159 for Reagan National to Orlando. Travel by Feb. 10; lowest fares are on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. Blackout dates apply; 10-day advance purchase required. By comparison, most flights to Charlotte are at least $20 more.
