Man dies after falling from house's roof in New Carrollton

An unidentified man fell from a roof in Prince George's County on Friday afternoon and died, authorities said.

Paramedics went to a home in the 6600 block of Chestnut Ave. in New Carrollton at around 2:30 p.m. in response to a report of a man who fell from a roof, said Capt. Mark Brady, a Prince George's County Fire Department spokesman. The man was pronounced dead at the scene and officials are investigating the incident.

The man's identity was not immediately revealed.
