Floyd Haigler's 30-yard pass to Willie Carter was the only score for the Bison (2-6, 0-5), who took a 6-0 lead with 4 minutes 40 seconds left in the first quarter before a blocked extra point.

-- RICHMOND 42, TOWSON 14: Kendall Gaskins ran for two scores and caught a touchdown pass from Eric Ward, helping the visiting Spiders remain undefeated with a win over the Tigers.

Justin Forte rushed for 121 yards, including a go-ahead 10-yard touchdown that ignited a decisive 22-point third quarter for Richmond (8-0, 6-0 Colonial Athletic Association).

Richmond has won a school-record 17 straight games and 11 straight on the road.

-- JAMES MADISON 20, DELAWARE 8: Justin Thorpe ran for one touchdown and threw for another while the Dukes' defense registered eight sacks in a win over the Blue Hens (5-3, 3-3 Colonial Athletic Association) in Newark, Del.

James Madison (3-5, 1-4 CAA) scored all three of its touchdowns in the second half to snap a four-game losing streak and post its first victory at Delaware since 1994.

-- OLD DOMINION 31, GEORGETOWN 10: Thomas DeMarco rushed for 144 yards and three touchdowns and threw for another score to lead the Monarchs (7-2) to a win over the Hoyas (0-8) in Norfolk. Gallaudet set a new program record (in the modern era) for yardage while moving to 5-4 on the season. The margin of victory is the biggest for the team since an 80-0 win against Shenandoah University in 1929.

The Bison's Phillip Hayes had 214 rushing yards on 11 carries. Michael Gimeli added 143 yards on 19 carries.

-- EMORY & HENRY 13, CATHOLIC 10: Rich Barry carried 32 times for 152 yards, but the host Cardinals (1-7, 0-4 Old Dominion Athletic Conference) fell to the Wasps (5-3, 1-3).
