If we didn't know better, we might suspect vegetarians had packed the short list of most-viewed recipes in Recipe Finder for October. They are all meatless:

1. Eggs en Cocotte Two Ways. David Hagedorn's show-stopping yet easy centerpiece for brunch.

2. Italian Vegetable Stew. A hearty Dinner in Minutes recipe that starts with prepped ingredients from the salad bar.

3. Waffles of Many Flours and Meals. The culmination of Lisa Yockelson's multiple experiments to produce a perfect whole-grain breakfast (or anytime) food.

4. Moroccan Chickpeas With Apples. A Nourish side dish that cooks fast and complements grilled meats.

5. Basmati Rice Pilaf With Apples, Squash and Cranberries. Another healthful Nourish recipe, sweet and savory all in one.
