To attract shoppers, the store is offering holiday discounts, marking down window treatment fabrics 20 and 25 percent off retail prices. Shoppers can save on brands such as Robert Allen, Duralee and Kravet whose regular prices are $25 to $65 per yard. -- Thursday through Sunday, everything in the Olney Antique Village and Hollace Clare Design is on sale. Antiques from the nine dealers of the Olney Antique Village are up to 25 percent off, and new furnishings at Hollace Clare Design are up to 75 percent off regular prices. That includes a set of six mahogany shield-back chairs from the 1930s reduced from $1,995 to $1,495, and a new hand-painted buffet that's regularly $4,700 and now $1,995. -- Save 20 to 50 percent off retail prices on all wood furnishings and rugs, in stock and special order, during the Kellogg Collection's annual fall sale. "It's almost a storewide sale," says manager Stephanie Horan. The local chain, which is known for its English country style, will be discounting more than 200 rugs.
