Charles County Parks and Recreation Division is seeking volunteers to serve as trail support team members on the Indian Head Rail Trail. Center for Children, an outpatient mental health clinic for children and adults, needs mentors 21 and older for children 4-18 with a parent in prison, on probation or on parole. The center is especially seeking minority men to be mentors. The program helps children with emotional support, academics, life skills and character development. Court-Appointed Special Advocate volunteers are needed in St. Mary's and Charles counties to help provide a voice for abused or neglected juveniles in court proceedings.
