With all the talk in The Post's opinion pages about how the two major political parties need to evaluate their agendas and the kind of candidates they nominate, maybe The Post should take some of its own medicine. The editorial page frothed in its attacks against Robert F. McDonnell and all the Republican nominees for statewide office. It endorsed only four out of 23 Republicans for the state legislature. The tone of Post editorialists throughout this campaign was snide, derisive and appallingly biased. The results on Tuesday demonstrated how out of touch you are with the voters and the mood in Virginia. Maybe it's time for you to abandon endorsements for statewide offices and commit yourself anew to objectivity.
