The Nov. 4 front page included a story about a high school football star disciplined for a celebratory gesture ["High school star benched for celebrating with a chest bump"]. Turn a few pages, and there was a photo of Republican Ken Cuccinelli, the newly elected attorney general, waving a broom. Do boys ever grow up? Broad Run High School's T.J. Peller might wonder why unsportsmanlike conduct is okay from the attorney general-elect but gets a teenage athlete a trip to the bench.
