Authorities are seeking a Woodbridge man charged with raping a 13-year-old girl in Arlington in August, Arlington County police said Friday.

A felony warrant for rape was issued for Efran Cruz Nunez, 30, on August 29, a day after a girl said a man sexually assaulted her in her apartment in the 3500 block of S. Ball St., police said.

Cruz Nunez is aware of the warrant, authorities said. He has been asked to turn himself in, police said, but detectives are unable to locate him.

Anyone who sees Cruz Nunez is asked to call 911. Anyone with information about him is asked to call the Arlington police tip line at (703) 228-4242.
