Gangs of D.C.

Following are two lists of crews and gangs thought to be present in the District. The first was compiled by Ron Moten, co-founder of the youth violence intervention group Peaceoholics. It groups gangs based on their presence in five selected D.C. schools.

The second list -- a ward-by-ward breakdown -- originates with the Citywide Coordinating Council on Youth Violence Prevention (CCCYVP), a network of community-based youth organizations, schools and church groups focused on gang violence.
