A Nov. 1 article in the Southern Maryland Extra incorrectly implied that Calvert's Board of County Commissioners requested legislation from the 2010 General Assembly authorizing a pay increase for county officials. A pending report from a citizens committee that reviews and recommends salaries for county officials was discussed at the legislative meeting.
