As you may have guessed based on the Google home-page images alone, it's a big week for "Sesame Street" (MPT at 9:30 a.m.). The show celebrates its 40th season premiere Tuesday, with a special guest appearance by Michelle Obama, who teaches the benefits of planting a garden and healthy eating.
Erica and Father Jack bond on "V" (ABC at 8 p.m.) after realizing neither of them trusts the Visitors, while Chad is determined to make his next interview with the V-leader more newsworthy.
TLC hosts another very large family as "Table for 12" (TLC at 8, 8:30) returns with new episodes, starring New Jersey's Hayes family -- one set of sextuplets, two sets of twins -- participating in various adventures.
Part 2 of the "Nova" (WETA and MPT at 8) "Being Human" series examines "Turkana Boy," a skeleton that resembles a modern human and is about 1.5 million years old.
"Design: E2" (Sundance Channel at 8), narrated by Brad Pitt, looks at sustainable architecture around the country, starting with some very innovative buildings in Manhattan.
Alison Sweeney informs the contestants that two will be eliminated on this week's "The Biggest Loser" (NBC at 8), which causes a panic among the final eight players.
"The Windsors: A Royal Dynasty" (WETA at 9) focuses on George VI's rule from 1936 to 1952, as well as his wife, Elizabeth, later the queen mother.
The police think they have a big break in Sydney's murder on "Melrose Place" (CW at 9) when they learn Auggie's blood was on the murder weapon -- and Riley may know where the missing Auggie is hiding.
The night before the Country Music Association Awards, Robin Roberts hosts "In the Spotlight With Robin Roberts: Bright Lights, Big Stars, All Access Nashville" (ABC at 10) and hangs out with singers including Tim McGraw, Roseanne Cash, Martina McBride, Carrie Underwood, Vince Gill and Loretta Lynn.
With her husband still in jail, Alicia faces a complicated situation when she finds herself drawn to a handsome lawyer on "The Good Wife" (CBS at 10) while defending a partner's daughter.
A special 90-minute "Sons of Anarchy" (FX at 10) has Gemma finally making a decision to help the Jax-Clay issue, while an agent starts to get suspicious about SAMCRO's massive profits.
Game-show host Howie Mandel visits "The Jay Leno Show" (NBC at 10).
"Late Show With David Letterman" (CBS at 11:35) hosts actress Kate Walsh, tennis star Andre Agassi and musical guest Norah Jones.
Actress Jessica Biel and stuntman Super Dave Osborne are guests on "The Tonight Show With Conan O'Brien" (NBC at 11:35), and John Fogerty performs.
