A makeshift bomb exploded under his vehicle in Helmand province.

2nd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C.

A bomb exploded under their Humvee as they were preparing to tow another vehicle that was stuck in a canal in Helmand province.
