Danielle Adams scored 24 points in her Texas A&M debut, and the host Aggies stunned No. 6 Duke, 95-77, on Sunday.

The Aggies (1-0) took the lead near the midway point of the first half and didn't trail again. Despite poor shooting, the Blue Devils (1-1) cut the lead to three points with about 14 minutes remaining, but the Aggies scored 10 straight points to make it 65-52 and Duke didn't threaten again.

Adams scored seven points in that span, including a nifty off-balance layup that she turned into a three-point play.

The win improved Texas A&M's all-time record against the Blue Devils to 3-0.

-- TENNESSEE 74, BAYLOR 65: Shekinna Stricklen had 25 points and 14 rebounds, and the No. 8 Lady Volunteers (1-0) topped the visiting seventh-ranked Lady Bears (0-1) in the State Farm Tip-Off Classic.

All the buzz entering the game was about Brittney Griner, Baylor's celebrated recruit who dunked in an exhibition game. The 6-foot-8 Griner dunked a few times in warmups and scored 15 points, but never got close enough to the rim for a chance to dunk during the game.

-- STANFORD 81, RUTGERS 66: In Piscataway, N.J., Kayla Pedersen scored 22 points and Nnemkadi Ogwumike added 21 to help the No. 2 Cardinal (2-0) power past the 25th-ranked Scarlet Knights (0-1).

Stanford, which features a starting lineup with four players taller than 6 feet, was just too big for Rutgers. The Cardinal held a 50-33 rebounding edge, including 28 offensive boards.

-- NOTRE DAME 102, ARKANSAS-PINE BLUFF 57: Becca Bruszewski had 19 points and 10 rebounds to lead the fourth-ranked Irish (1-0) at home.

The Lady Lions (0-2) gave up 100 points for a second straight game.

-- GEORGIA 62, OKLAHOMA 51: Porsha Phillips and Jasmine James each scored 15 points as the No. 21 Lady Bulldogs (1-0), at home, held off the 13th-ranked Sooners (1-1).

Georgia led by 13 points early in the second half only to see Oklahoma pull even at 43 with 6 minutes 48 seconds remaining. The Lady Bulldogs regained the lead on Meredith Mitchell's three-point play.
