Second NE shooting victim dies

A man wounded in a double shooting last week in Northeast has died.

D.C. police said Mouhamed Diop, 32, of the 3500 block of Silver Park Drive in Suitland died after being shot Nov. 11 at 42nd and Meade streets NE, in what police initially thought was a car accident. Diop had been in critical condition at a hospital since the shooting but was removed from life support Nov. 13, police said.

The other victim, Babacar Ndiaye, 37, of Oxon Hill died shortly after the 8:50 p.m. shooting.
