A Fairfax County woman was killed Friday morning when her car rolled over her in her driveway, Fairfax police said.

The woman was Emma Cabrera, 71, of the 8800 block of Charles Hawkins Way, in the Truro neighborhood near Little River Turnpike just outside Fairfax City. Police believe Cabrera was pulling out of her driveway to go to work around 5:30 a.m. when it happened, police spokeswoman Lucy Caldwell said.

Cabrera apparently put her car in reverse, then got out of the car, Caldwell said. When she tried to get back in the car, she apparently fell and the car rolled over her, Caldwell said. Neighbors discovered her shortly after, Caldwell said.
