The manufacturers that supply Inova Health System with seasonal flu vaccine have informed Inova that deliveries of the vaccine will arrive later than had been anticipated. As a result, Inova is temporarily postponing flu shot clinics until more vaccine arrives. Inova will continue to schedule some clinics to serve people in high-risk categories, including the weekly family clinics at Inova facilities, and will continue to vaccinate its employees to help protect patients.
