Fatal car crash

A Fairfax County man died Thursday in a car crash on Route 50 just east of Middleburg in Loudoun County, Loudoun sheriff's officials said Friday.

Syan Trilochan-Singh, 69, of Centreville was driving a 2003 Lincoln Town Car east on Route 50 near Carters Farm Lane shortly after 5 p.m. Thursday, Loudoun sheriff's spokesman Kraig Troxell said. William E. Albers, 66, of Middleburg was pulling out of a private drive onto Route 50 in his Toyota Prius, trying to head west, when the Town Car struck the Prius.

Trilochan-Singh was taken to Inova Loudoun Hospital, where he died, Troxell said.
