A Suitland man was killed and a woman and baby were injured in a two-car crash early Monday on Suitland Parkway, police said.

The crash happened at 6:37 a.m. between Silver Hill and Forestville roads, said Sgt. David Schlosser, a spokesman for the U.S. Park Police. He said one vehicle flipped, killing its driver, 32-year-old Shawn Bowman, and a vehicle with a woman and baby inside was also involved.

The woman and the baby were taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries, Schlosser said. He said he did not know the specific circumstances of the crash.
