It's "Nutcracker" season, and this year the Manassas Ballet Theatre's production comes with entirely new choreography by Vadim Burciu, one of the company's dancers and an instructor at the Manassas Ballet Academy. Also, watch for new costumes in numbers including the Arabian dance. There will be 12 professional dancers and 50 local children on stage with Jessica Fisher, a graduating senior from South Riding who is playing the part of Clara; in the orchestra pit will be the 29-member Manassas Ballet Theatre Orchestra.
