-- A Religion Notes listing in the Dec. 17 Prince George's Local Living section omitted the date of a holiday breakfast at Trinity Episcopal Church in Upper Marlboro. The event will be held Dec. 19 from 8 to 10 a.m.

-- The Shopping Cart feature that appeared in some editions of the Dec. 16 Food section listed an incorrect price for the Fusionwood "Chopper" high-carbon stainless-steel chef's knife made by New West KnifeWorks. It is $99, not $199. The item also incorrectly described New West KnifeWorks as being in Coyote Loop, Wyo. The knifemaker is on a street called Coyote Loop in Wilson, Wyo.

-- A Dec. 15 Health & Science article incorrectly said that an aquatic glider operated by researchers at Rutgers University and sent from coastal New Jersey to coastal Spain this year was the first robotic device to cross the Atlantic Ocean. Numerous "unmanned aerial vehicles" -- airplanes of various sizes -- have made the crossing. The Rutgers glider was the first submersible robot to cross the Atlantic.

-- A photo caption with a Dec. 12 Sports article on Navy fullback Jack Hatcher misstated the first names of his father and brother. They are Ronald Hatcher Sr. and Ronald Hatcher Jr., not Robert Hatcher Sr. and Robert Hatcher Jr.

-- A Dec. 6 Travel article about Romania misspelled the names of two cities. They are Ploiesti and Sighisoara, not Ploesti and Simisoara.
