At 110, D.C.'s oldest resident offers tips for a happy life
Eddye Williams, who is believed to be the District's oldest resident, celebrated another birthday Monday. She is 110 years old.
Guests, including D.C. Council member Harry Thomas Jr. (D-Ward 5), filled her D.C. home to help mark the occasion and to hear her advice on longevity:
"Love everybody. Don't hate. Don't gossip. Take care of your own business. And take care of your body."
