Wedding date: Dec. 19.

Location: Sheraton Columbia Town Center Hotel.

Guests: 52.

How they met: Angela posted a personal ad on Craigslist in 2008, looking for someone who didn't like to play games and had good teeth. Michael was on the site looking for a refrigerator and stumbled upon Angela's ad. Michael's response sounded normal and polite, unlike some of the crazier ones, Angela says. So the two began trading e-mails and photos.

The proposal: In June, Michael took Angela along while he visited a site in D.C. for work. Afterward, he drove around the Lincoln Memorial, which was where he wanted to pop the question. He couldn't find a parking space, however, and decided they should go to Hains Point, which was flooded and deserted because of heavy rains the night before. As they walked toward the shoreline, Michael proposed and Angela called her mom 10 seconds later.

The wedding: Because of the December snowstorm, the original facility the couple booked canceled, but the Sheraton quickly accommodated them. A lot of guests and some of the wedding party, including Michael, had a tough time traveling because streets weren't plowed. Michael had to ask a friend to borrow Hummer limos so guests could battle through the snow. They invited about 150 people, but only a third made it.

Honeymoon: Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort.
