Petty Officer 2nd Class Brian M. Patton, 37, of Freeport, Ill.; Navy Seal Delivery Team One, based in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Died Nov. 19 in Kuwait of noncombat injuries.

Lance Cpl. Nicholas J. Hand, 20, of Kansas City, Mo.; 2nd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, 2nd Marine Expeditionary Force, based at Camp Lejeune, N.C. Killed Nov. 22 in Helmand province.

Spec. Jason A. McLeod, 22, of Crystal Lake, Ill.; 704th Brigade Support Battalion, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, based at Fort Carson, Colo. Killed Nov. 23 west of Pashmul.

Staff Sgt. Matthew A. Pucino, 34, of Cockeysville, Md.; 2nd Battalion, 20th Special Forces Group, Maryland Army National Guard, based in Glen Arm, Md. Killed Nov. 23 in Pashay Kala.

Sgt. Kenneth R. Nichols Jr., 28, of Chrisman, Ill.; 2nd Battalion, 12th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, based at Fort Carson, Colo. Killed Dec 1 in Kunar province.

Lance Cpl. Jonathan A. Taylor, 22, of Jacksonville, Fla.; 2nd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, 2nd Marine Expeditionary Force, based at Camp Lejeune, N.C. Killed Dec. 1 in Helmand province.

Sgt. Elijah J. Rao, 26, of Lake Oswego, Ore.; 2nd Battalion, 77th Field Artillery Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, based at Fort Carson, Colo. Killed Dec. 5 in Nuristan.

Staff Sgt. Dennis J. Hansen, 31, of Panama City, Fla.; 1st Battalion, 32nd Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division, (Light Infantry), based at Fort Drum, N.Y. Died Dec. 7 at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany of wounds suffered Dec. 3 in Logar province.
