Man struck, killed by truck on I-295
A District man was killed early Saturday after a truck hit him as he stood behind his disabled car on Interstate 295, District police said.
Oscar Noel Mercado, 28, of the 1800 block of Morris Road SE was killed near the Foote Street overpass shortly after 2 a.m., police said.
