Bristow Area


FRANK HASKELL CT., 11800 block, 10 a.m. Jan. 3 to 9:30 p.m. Jan. 7. Someone entered a residence by breaking a rear sliding-glass door. Nothing was reported stolen.

Dale City Area


SADDLER LANE, 5400 block, 9:16 p.m. Jan. 8. During an argument involving a large group of people, several gunshots were fired. No injuries were reported.

Dumfries Area


OLD STAGE RD., 17100 block, 1 a.m. Jan. 10. A convenience store employee allegedly inappropriately touched a female customer. A 40-year-old Dumfries man was arrested.


JURGENSEN DR., 3600 block, 6 p.m. Jan. 8 to 10:30 a.m. Jan. 9. An office was entered. Two windows were broken, and two copiers and two sets of window blinds were damaged.

RESERVOIR LOOP, 16600 block, 3:59 a.m. Dec. 28. Someone attempted to enter a residence by forcing open a window.

TELESCOPE LANE, 16500 block, 11 p.m. Jan. 4 to 4:45 a.m. Jan. 5. Cash, two laptop computers, a video game system, a digital camera, gift cards, video games and a flower vase were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked window.

TELESCOPE LANE, 16500 block, 9 p.m. Jan. 4 to 11 a.m. Jan. 5. Someone attempted to enter a residence by tampering with a window.
